Teacher: Lynn Arnold

Class: Current Topics in Food & Culture – HLSC 216

Introduction

As part of project where students create a healthy snack food for children, they develop the product as well as a marketing plan and the packaging.  The package is required to have an accurate Nutrition Facts Label, which can be generated using a website.

Creating an accurate nutrition facts label is a long procedure with lots of steps, and students have a hard time remembering all the parts.  To help them, I created this desktop video as part of the Blended Learning: Using Video Effectively class.

Benefit

Now students will have something to refer to and won’t need to ask for directions over and over. I may or may not go over the process in class.
